Custom Trainings using Bertie Kingore's Recognizing Gifted Potential: Planned Experiences and the KOIThe following trainings/workshops were developed for Hillsboro School District in Oregon, to help identify gifted potential in first grade students. The project took place over three years, with one school participating the first year, nine schools the second year, and all elementary schools the third year.
First grade teacher teams, and school-specific Gifted Coordinators, from 26 schools attended 4 days of trainings and scoring sessions as part of this process. ![]()
